When I was trying on dresses they paired it with a beautiful cathedral length veil. I fell in love it ! Well since getting my dress the veil has sold out. But I just could not get it out of my head! I found someone online selling it for about 60% off!!! But today I was scrolling through IG and saw the dress I said yes to with a fingertip length veil and it looks gorgeous as well. The aisle is concrete and I do worry the veil may snag while walking down. I would also like to show off the back of the dress. The train of the dress is also cathedral length. Idk what to do! Pictured is me in the dress without the veil to show off the back, a pic of someone in the dress to show off the back of the whole dress, me with the cathedral veil, the DB pic off of IG and the aisle lol. What would you all do? The veils are about a $30 difference.. my hair will be in an updo or low bun..if that helps. TIA💜
That train is stunning - definitely show it off and let it do its thing!! Normally I love a cathedral veil, but fingertip is perfect for that. Honestly, the picture with the cathedral veil looks like there’s too much going on and you can’t really make out the dress/veil.
Is that Rose Hall in the last pic? We looked at that venue! I’d go with the cathedral veil... I’m all about the dramatic with our wedding and cathedral veils make a statement!
I am normally all about the cathedral length veil but that train is gorgeous! I vote for the fingertip length veil. A longer veil would distract from the intricate detail on the train.
If you do the cathedral veil, I would stick with something plain with nothing around the edge. Sorry I’m not savvy enough to know what they call that. But I think it would give you that dramatic, romantic look without taking away from the detail in the train. That would be my choice, but honestly they all look beautiful!
I’m a huge fan of cathedral veils. (I’ll be wearing one myself), but with your dress, I vote fingertip. I think the cathedral veil takes away from your amazing train. Let that train stand on its own.
I would go with the fingertip length. The longer one is beautiful but it sort of fights with the train since they both have their own beautiful detail.
