When I was trying on dresses they paired it with a beautiful cathedral length veil. I fell in love it ! Well since getting my dress the veil has sold out. But I just could not get it out of my head! When I was trying on dresses they paired it with a beautiful cathedral length veil. I fell in love it ! Well since getting my dress the veil has sold out. But I just could not get it out of my head! I found someone online selling it for about 60% off!!! But today I was scrolling through IG and saw the dress I said yes to with a fingertip length veil and it looks gorgeous as well. The aisle is concrete and I do worry the veil may snag while walking down. I would also like to show off the back of the dress. The train of the dress is also cathedral length. Idk what to do! Pictured is me in the dress without the veil to show off the back, a pic of someone in the dress to show off the back of the whole dress, me with the cathedral veil, the DB pic off of IG and the aisle lol. What would you all do? The veils are about a $30 difference.. my hair will be in an updo or low bun..if that helps. TIA💜

I would do a fingertip veil. The dress is too beautiful to cover. Plus..a cathedral veil will get snagged on that aisle.

I think the lace edging (on either length) is too busy and competing with the dress. A raw edge, very sheer cathedral length veil would be perfect with your dress! Maybe go try that combination on and see what you think? (Raw edge veils tend to be a bit less expensive as well. 😊)

I love a long veil but the picture with the fingertip veil shows of that stunning detail of your dress. I feel like the cathedral veil hides the beauty of the train on your dress. You look incredible in the dress, by the way.

I work at DB and this dress is one of my FAVS! Good choice 😝 Whenever I have brides try this dress on I always bring them a fingertip veil that is more on the simple side. I usually bring them a pencil edge veil or something with her minimal detail. The back of the dress is absolutely gorgeous and you don’t want to take away from that. Not only does it have the gorg train but the back has exposed boning! You don’t want to hide that.

Another vote for fingertip length! Your train is stunning, it's a crime to cover it.

I'm in the minority here. I don't personally love the look of shorter veils. You have a gorgeous train, but I think a cathedral length veil would still look stunning and wouldn't take away from the beautiful train imo.

Yes! Fingertip! That train is stunning, let it shine! You'll probably have it bustled for the reception so I think it would be a pity to cover it up during it's moment.

Honestly, the train is too beautiful for words. I wouldn't want to take away from it with a cathedral veil.
