Veil magnet weights

Has anyone used these? Are they worth it? To those already married, were your veils blowing all over the place?

My friend just used them on her cathedral veil (on a windy day in fl) and loved them! She's passing them on to me to use.

Thanks! I have a cathedral veil also so I thought they might be useful but hadn't heard of them until a day or two ago. Maybe I'll invest in them. Smiley smile

I've thought about them. Not sure I wanna spend $60 on the ones I found or find my own/DIY them from a fabric store! Good to know they work though!

I probably won't weigh mine down. It has lace and some beading along the edges, so that might help keep it in place. I also love those pictures where the bride's veil is blowing out behind her.

I'm not using them but I'm inside, and if it's windy for photos I'm sure it'll look super romantic blowing in the wind even if it's a bit annoying? I've never heard of these before though, but that sounds neat!

Hi Brides to Be! I am the owner/original designer of Veil Weights by Save the Veil. I have been a wedding planner in Orange County, CA for 20 years and watched way to many beautiful veils start to fly out of control during the ceremony. Now here's where it gets ugly....you spent all of that money on your beautiful veil and instead of it hanging so nicely where it should, it is now being stuffed into your dress or armpit..not pretty, especially for the photos that are being taken from the back of the ceremony. Oh, maybe your Maid of Honor is holding onto it..again not a nice photo unless you think having your best friends arm in all of your photos is pretty!!! Please check out our video on our Facebook page (Save the Veil). It shows just how well they work. Also if you want that "veil blowing in the wind photos" during photos...they slip on and off very easily. And don't do a DIY...you need to have just the right weight and magnetic strength for them to work. It's one of the most important days in your life....they are well worth it. I also have some reviews from my brides who have used them and were so glad they had them on their wedding day. I hope that helps. If you have any questions, you can email me at ****@***********.*** Thank you, Jill
