Veil or Tiara? (Or both?)

I was having this discussion with my family that i wanted either a tiara or a veil but not both. When I tried on my dress they put both on me at the shop. Still don't know what hairstyle i will have . What are you wearing? Whats the style?

I really don't like tiaras, and a traditional veil wasn't going to work with my dress, so I have a birdcage veil with swaroski crystals on it.

I still don't know either! If I do a tiara, it will be very low-key... but beautiful, of course. (like 2d bride's!)

My niece wore a veil for the ceremony with her hair curled but brushed out, and had it pulled up into a soft up-do with a fascinator on the side...worked well for her. Good Luck.x

I'm wearing both. Well, a headband and a veil. Taking the veil off after ceremony and pictures. The veil will be in the back of my updo,

I was originally doing just a veil. Well I went to the dress shop to start alterations and tried the veil with it & I hate it! I'm just buying a hair comb. My hair will be half up half down but I don't want anything extreme.

I can do both, great idea! Im not sure how my hair will be i am in between half do or up, because it will show off my dress more i suppose.

I considered a comb , i am a simple person so personally for me less is more Smiley smile

I wore both. I planned to take off veil for reception, however never got time to do it besides it was so intwined in my hair it would of been a mess. Try both ways and see what you like the best.

I wore a flower in my hair.

My daughter wore a veil for the ceremony and since she feels like Sandy R does about tiaras, she took off her veil and used a comb with rhinestones and pearls for her reception. To facilitate the change, she was fortunate, one of her BMs is a hair stylist so she was able to help her with the switch.

It is considered to be a "classic" look to wear both. Most often than not, veil is removed after the ceremony and photos, so only tiara remains for the reception. If you don't want a big, full tiara, why not use a smaller "comb tiara", like this one: http://forprincessbride.com/store/product804.html or this: http://forprincessbride.com/store/product1028.html . Or, you can opt for a headband!

    Enjoy your wedding!

Im wearing both. A mantilla veil with a blusher and a very pretty tall tiara that matches my necklace.

Ladies, i thank you for your comments , i might go for a veil ceremony & sparkly comb. It will depend on my hairstyle i suppose.

    Thanks Nikki.

If you are going for a comb, check out Etsy. While it may run a little high, you can resell on Ebay, Craigs List or Recycled bride. We found that you truly do get what you pay for when it comes to bling combs. Good luck!

I wanted sparkle in my hair but not a tiara so I attached a hairpiece underneath. I took off my veil for the reception.
