Veil over face

I bought a veil thinking to wear it over my face while I walk down the isle. Is anyone wearing it but not over their face?

Just a single layer veil in the back for me. I am uncoordinated, and I want to limit anything that may make me face plant on my way up the aisle.

I'm not wearing a veil, but I've never seen someone wear a blusher at weddings I've attended. I think the contemporary standard is to just wear it in the back.

I was on the fence about veil and then the dressmaker included it and I thought why not. Then only going to wear it back, but ended up putting the blusher over my face at last minute. Made me feel so bridal and loved the moment DH pulled it back to kiss me. So glad I went with it in the end.

I am wearing a veil but no face covering blusher. He knows what I look like and he proposed anyway. :-)

I planned on wearing mine in the back.

I ended up not wearing it at all because we could not get it to stay in my damn hair, but that's beside the point.

I'm just wearing mine on the back. The blusher seems kinda dated to me.

Dads pulling mine back!!! It's a special moment... besides you'll be walking down with it back when the ceremony is over.

I have a two layer cathedral length veil. It's beautiful and elegant, and I'm planning on wearing the shorter layer over my face during the walk down the aisle.

I am wearing it over the face, and FH will lift it after the ceremony.

I must have tried a dozen veils off Amazon, but while they were gorgeous, they were like mosquito nets and hard to see through.

I finally ordered from Blancaveils, Etsy and got the perfect one :-)

I originally planned on just wearing mine in the back, but my mom really wants me to wear a blusher. I actually like the idea of having my dad pull it back when he gives me away! Could be a happy medium for my mom

I'm wearing one in the back, personally don't like it over the face.

We intended to do that, but forgot. It's a matter of personal preference.
