I assume it comes off after ceremony? Do you regret going long? Pros/cons etc

I wore mine for photos after the ceremony and our entrance into the reception, but then took it off for dinner and dancing

Pros: it felt special, romantic, and a little dramatic. Most importantly, it gave me those “I’m really getting married and feel like a bride” butterflies
Cons:🤷🏼‍♀️ I regret nothing (though i will admit that in the areas where the venue had slightly tougher textured sidewalks, it would get caught up a little)

I wore a long veil for my church ceremony and LOVED that it gave me that extra “bridal” feeling. It was just so romantic, dreamy, and BRIDAL. I kept it on for the photos after the ceremony but removed it before the reception. It definitely caught a little on the brick stairs outside the church, hence this hilarious photo 😂 Veil-- those who went with long veil 3
It was also my something borrowed, it was my bridesmaids veil for her wedding a few years ago! Veil-- those who went with long veil 4

I plan on wearing my mom’s veil, which is cathedral length, for the ceremony and a few photos beforehand/afterwards. I’ll remove it before we head into the reception.

I wore a long veil. At first, I wasn’t planning on wearing one at all but the more I looked at my dress, the more I wanted to wear a long veil. I agree- it gives you more of that bridal feeling. I also, wanted to wear a tiara. Veil-- those who went with long veil 7

I wore a cathedral-length veil for both the ceremony and reception. Pros: like others have said, it felt very romantic and dramatic. I also loved how there were so many things you can do with it when it came to pictures. Cons: can get in the way, but I just put it over my arm when I wanted to dance. I loved wearing it the whole time and don’t regret going with a long veil at all!Veil-- those who went with long veil 9

I loved my cathedral veil and the drama it produced in photos. I’m definitely a big proponent of it. We didn’t end up doing our planned reception, but if we had, it would have come off after our portrait session.

I haven't got married yet but do plan on wearing a long drop veil. I agree that the photos are very romantic and dramatic, and there's no confusing the bride with anyone else!

I plan on wearing it for the ceremony and then couple photos, but then I will remove it for the reception.
