Vendor cancellation

Did you have a contract? My contract with my hairstylist required she find someone else for me if she had to cancel.

This happened to me!! My hair stylist cancelled two weeks before my wedding. Luckily, I was able to find a replacement within a day or two in a Facebook wedding group for my area. I put a post looking for a hair stylist, and ended up having multiple options to choose from. If you're not already in a Facebook wedding group, search for groups named something like "[city/area name] Weddings" or "[city/area name] Brides" and put a post with your wedding date and budget that you'd like to stay within. Vendors are usually in those groups, and hopefully you can find a replacement quickly. Good luck!

I would for sure call around to local salons, and get onto local wedding boards and ask for any recommendations. There must be someone at a salon around you that can do wedding hair, and you still have a bit of time.

My friends hairstylist ghosted her on her actual wedding day and we all just called around like crazy and found someone for each bridesmaid it was so crazy the bride was so calm the rest of us were freaking … don’t stress you’ll find someone
