I'm stressing money but I'm trying not to. FH got a new job and I'm picking up hours so we should be ok. Trying to figure out the seating chart is stressing me out. Like it's not supposed to be a big stressor but it gives me a headache thinking about it. And I know it's nothing compared to some of the stuff other people have to deal with

My biggest stress is picking my bridesmaids! I can't decide to pick my sister (13) and my fiances daughter (15), or two of my coworkers who I'm close with. Neither option will be drama free. I have one other friend I'm considering as well, but she's not in a financially secure enough place to be a bridesmaid, so I don't think I'm even going to ask her. I just can't figure out what to do 😓

My biggest stress right now? Not even with planning the wedding, at least not directly. FH lost his job!! Ugh. So, he's already applied for unemployment (as a backup), and went back to the agency that set him up with this job 3 years ago. Hopefully they can find him something quickly! I was already stressing about money, and how everything was going to get paid. Now, my anxiety about money is through the roof! I'm trying to think positive, and believe that everything will work out. But until FH is gainfully employed again, I'm going to be a ball of worry!!

I'm stressing about choosing our venue. We've toured about 8 and have 3 favorites, but my fiance's favorite is the most expensive one while mine is the most affordable one. We agreed we'd get married in the mountains or at least have a mountain view behind us during the ceremony. His favorite venue is gorgeous, but it's a ranch and doesn't have the mountain view (last place I would ever picture myself getting married is on a ranch). My favorite venue is a log cabin on a lake at the base of the foothills of the Rockies. It doesn't help either that my parents are active duty Air Force and currently stationed in South Korea so I can't tour the venues with them. It's all so stressful because I want my parents to help us decide since they are paying for our wedding, but I also want to make sure my fiance and I are both happy with the venue we choose and neither of us feel like we're settling on our venue. Smiley ups

Sounds like we're getting married on the same day.... 10/10/20 I have a pain issue too... I try to stay positive and do the little things I can do as time allows.. I know ours day will be beautiful and filled with happiness... Because we will be with the ones that know our struggles best... Our forever loves. Praying you and I find answers before our big days but most of all that our loved ones always understand our needs when we are frustrated with our issues. 💝

I’m 8 days away! I’m just ready for it to happen already. So many little details add up fast and our wedding isn’t even that fancy. I think we finally have everything, but the rehearsal down. Really just time for execution. Where’s my October 20 brides at?!?

In laws! My FH is caucasian and I'm biracial- half white & half black. They told us when we began dating they dont approve of interracial dating and when we became engaged they offer no support- emotional or financial, and dont even really ask about our wedding plans. They live 5 min away from us and haven't even been to our apartment and we've been here almost a year. So I wish that relationship was better and less stressful, but oh well. Marrying my FH on May 9 2020 is 😍

My wedding is only 24 days away and I am *so* stressed. I am the Editor in Chief of a national magazine, I am taking 16 credits at a University near me AND my FH and I are subletting our apartment while we finalize our new house! So yeah, I am stressed! We still have to pay 3 vendors but my FH hasn't had enough hours this week so our paycheck total is going be a lot lower than normal and we may need to ask some favors in order to get everything done in time! I also decided against a DOC because it was a huge expense but I wish I had gone for one because now I have to help set up the reception hall right before I get my hair and makeup done! We are doing an 80 guest wedding for only $8,000! Pray for me, guys! I'm going crazy Smiley xd

Thanks so much for your reply. I've been so overwhelmed with this lately and it made me feel so much better. I felt less alone with this and your right, no matter what it's going to be a beautiful day because we are marrying the ones we love. He's been right by my side through this latest flare and I know he will always be by my side.

As for this latest pain flare, my doc and neurologist are referring me to a pain specialist. They are also taking new MRIs since the last ones are 5-6 years old. Until then, they are keeping me comfortable with meds so I've been doing stuff for the wedding that can be done online.

Definitely in-laws. They're both doctors so they make a ton of money. My MILs idea of an average hotel is a $230 a night. I dont feel comfortable asking people to fly from New England to South Florida and then pay that much for a weekend to have a place to sleep. I love that she wants to be involved but my family is very frugal with money having grown up with almost none.

My biggest stress right now is making sure that I am putting money back to pay for my portion. I’m changing jobs and taking a small pay decrease because I’m hoping the job is a better fit for me. I’ve got medical bills, chronic pain, and other things stressing me out but I’m just so excited that it’s under half a year away now! It will all be worth it ❤️

Keeping your mind off the pain and on the Happiness that is to come helps.. I know because being out of my head about pain last too long but happy feelings will help so that pain doesn't overwhelm you. My prayers and thoughts are for answers for us both. Keep up the magic of planning your day and know that you are making your dream come true... My quote I say to myself often is 'I will not be Derailed!' meaning I will get to the destination I have planned for me.. you're welcome to use it if you want to. Stay focused on marring you FH.

My biggest frustration right now is the waiting, we are a little over 6 months out and there are a few things left to do but a lot of them can wait until the new year. I'm super impatient haha and feel like we're just in limbo land.

I also tallied up all the remaining balances that will have to be paid off in the new year and that's a little daunting as well 🙈.

I'm paying for a lot of this by myself so far. My fiancée and I have been together for 15 yrs we have a 14 yo son. He makes the same as me but I just handle money better. I'm all over this wedding thing and he keeps the bills cool. We getting married by any means necessary lol.

Either having to wait to book our honeymoon when the hotel is getting filled up quick and we're affraid they will be all booked forcing us to stay at a different hotel OR finding an affordable set of throne chairs to rent for the wedding that isn't $400+
