I am working with the wedding coordinator right now on that. It just sucks! I hate to sound spoiled, but I really just wanted things a certain way. I sacrifice and give of myself to others so much. I rarely put myself first. RARELY. I just wanted this one thing to be the way I wanted, and now I have to compromise, yet again. But, that's life... I know... Just venting.

Ugh, so sorry you're going through this. Breathe...I'm sure you'll be able to order something more affordable that is still beautiful and fits your vision. I'm sorry about your cousin not being able to walk with you, do you have another family member who could do this? Or a best friend?

Afterallthistime...Always - Thank you! Yes, my cousin-in-law will walk me down the aisle, which is fine. I guess my feelings are a little hurt. Although I understand that DW are not cheap and a person can only do what they can do. It still is a little disappointing.

We are currently in the process of looking into cheaper options for flowers and rentals... I feel confident it will work out in the end. It's just getting to that point that is frustrating. It'll be fine. I'll be fine. Just frustrating.

I’m sorry you’re going thru this. I think you first need to breath and take a step back and trust everything would be fine.
I also had a DW so I was hurt when a few family members told me last minute they couldn’t make it. It would be fine. You’ll enjoy and look back and be wow! What a great weekend. And honestly is sad to think those people missed it but there’s nothing you can do.
For the vendors one I get how you feel. My rental vendor close for business so I had to start from scratch at a new place. 2 days before the wedding the vendor contacted me that the sofa I was using for the cocktail hour were badly damage after an event. I had to pick another set last minute. It all worked out in the end.
Talk to the vendors and explain to them. You can always alternate the flowers for a more economic one and same as the furniture. TRUST ME I know how you feel! But there’s nothing you can do. Your day would be perfect regardless what centerpieces or furniture you use!

View Quoted Comment My wedding was less than a month ago and everyone told me how beautiful everything was, how detail and personalized the wedding was (mostly girls) but what people continue to tell me to this day is how beautiful I looked, how much fun they had, how I made them feel by spending so much time with them, how happy we looked. How it was the best weekend of their life. Those are the things people remember and they take with them after the wedding ends! Focus on that and it would be amazing!

Thank you! You are absolutely right. I need to take a serious step back and be thankful for all the good that is happening and try to not become discouraged by the unplanned or unexpected.

When you say “flaked” they flat out told you they can not pay or they just haven’t approached you about paying? Because in that case you should defiantly approach them (of course, only if they offered in the recent past) If not then I’m sorry you feel stressed.. that’s the absolute worst! I’m sure your wedding coordinator will come up with something- it’s their job! haha

What kind of rentals do you need? And maybe you can do without the flowers and do this.

Sorry you are dealing with these "let downs" so close to your wedding. It sucks, but it's time to make a Plan B. Regardless, I am sure your wedding will be perfect!

I'm glad you like it. I was in a wedding last year and this is what they did. When I saw her pull these out of the bag I was like no way. But it ended up being so cute and sooooooooooooooo affordable. I pulled these off of etsy but you can also find them on ebay much cheaper. Not as nice but much cheaper
