Venting... Big Time Wedding Melt Down & Money Woes@

A quick vent. Soooo…. I am freaking out MAJORLY! Two family members agreed to pay for our flowers and rentals for the wedding. Both have flaked, which leaves my fiancé and I scrambling to come up with an extra 6k in the next few weeks. We are getting married on May 11. I am freaking out! This is insane!! Annnd I just found out that my other cousin is not coming to the wedding. We are having a destination wedding and he just told me that he can no longer afford to come. Him and my cousin in law are supposed to walk me down the aisle, since my father has passed away. Smh. This is entirely too much!

Talk to your vendors ASAP! Yes they want your money, obviously. But they also want to work with you and want to make your vision come to life. I had to cut back on our florals and the vendor was really helpful giving me different ideas that would help cut costs but still give me what I want. Money woes happen, it can be a part of life. Things don't always plan out. But try and recognize that there are people in your corner and just ask for HELP!
We have to put a sizable chunk of our venue costs on our credit card. This wasn't in the plan, but it has to be paid and we're out of options. We're trying not to let it get to us too much, Everything else has worked out great, so we think it will be worth it. Maybe this could be an option for you? Plan to pay off the charge with some of the money you get from guests and family.
