Venue Doesn't Want Flowergirls to Throw Flowers

I wanted tons of flower petals, but because our venue is a historic site and has to be preserved, they are strict on decorations. My two daughters are flower girls and I really don't know what to do. If I do decide for the girls to throw flowers anyway, the venue could deduct my security deposit....

I really like the idea of a kissing ball or a mini-bouquet.

I have 2 flowers girls and I am having them carry these signs. FH and I always joke we are better together. I'm going to have them walk side by side and go down the aisle together. I may add ribbon garland to the strings for more pop of color. My venue said no to petal throwing too.

    These were purchased from Etsy.

Hi OP, I'm in the same situation. I went to a wedding last year where the flower girl handed Daisys to the people who were on the isle and they loved it!!! They felt special and there was no mess to clean up afterwards!

My flower girl carried something similar to a flower ball, it was made by my florist with real flowers and was shaped like a purse instead of a ball. It had a jeweled handle. It was super cute!!

Same situation here. I'm planning either ribbon stick or bubbles.

Many places are like that. Most require real ones since fake ones can stain the floor. What about having a runner that has flowers on it by design? Then the girls can just walk dow with a bouquet.

That’s a beautiful idea! If you don’t mind me asking, how are you incorporating that into your ceremony/reception?
