Venue -no hanging decor on walls?

If it's in the contract that you can't hang anything, you might be out of luck :-\ If they are willing to consider allowing you to hang some things, maybe some of those 3M/Command hooks that stick to the wall with easy-to-remove backing? They make some "nicer" ones, in silver and black and such.

Maybe if you build some wooden backdrops? You can hang things from those without putting anything on the walls.

Can you post a few pictures of your venue space so we can see what you're working with? Some of the tassels and banners you might be able to use to decorate tables or on easels!

You could try making wooden backdrops or structures out of pvc pipe? Do you like uplighting? It can really change the look of the room!
