Hi brides! I booked our wedding for June 25th, 2020 at NOAHS event venue in Charlotte, NC. Today, I received numerous phone calls from my bride friends and vendors notifying me of my venue closing down abruptly! I tried to call the venue and corporate number but everything is going to their voicemail. I had just spoken with the venue last week about alcohol and they never mentioned that they would be closing. We only have 4 months till our big day and are left with finding another venue. If there are any other NOAHS brides, feel free to reach out to me as I have been getting new and updated information frequently.

I booked with NOAHS back in December of 2018 way before there was even a thought of the company filing for bankruptcy. After learning about the company filing for bankruptcy last summer, their attorneys prepared a letter and sent to all NOAHS brides here in Charlotte stating that they had renewed their lease for another 2 years and wouldn't need to renew again until 2021. They promised us that we would have nothing to worry about. This came as a total shock. I still feel like it's all a bad dream

Thanks Meghan! I am open to anything outside of Charlotte. I would like to keep my date if possible, of June 25th, 2020 and have the ceremony and reception at the same location. Please let me know if you find anything about other venues that are helping NOAHS brides.

Hi Kiarra, They filed for bankruptcy which means they are not financially responsible for anything monetary to give back to their customers. They are not answering any of their phone numbers and have taken down their instagram and social media accounts. They have yet to release anything in the media apologizing or how to recover our funds.

My wedding is (was?) in two weeks from now at Noah's. Once we heard the news Friday I intermediately filed a dispute with my credit card company. Since the deposit and the monthly charges started almost a year ago and the last charge in December it's doubtful we will get all our money back plus we also had the bar package so we are in almost $6k...Noah's did just send out the most unapologetic email today that was equally unhelpful.

We are looking at other venues that can host our date but most are either booked or will not allow an outside caterer. We do have one venue with our date and a good price but were not sure if we should jump on it or postpone. With the possibility of not getting our money back or if we do it probably wont be for another month so it has really put a damper on things.

I'm actively looking. There are a few venues that have reached out but of course they are businesses and need some type of profit for their services

Hey Stephanie! I am sooo sorry to hear that you were affected also. If you paid for the venue by Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, or any other major credit card company, contact them as soon as possible and let them know about what happened and to dispute any charges that NOAH'S has ever made to your account. Go back into your email and find all your receipts and contract as well to provide to your bank to dispute as services not rendered.

OMG! I'm so sorry this has happened for you too. Being so close to the wedding day is sooo stressful. You have already sent out invitations with the date and gotten RSVP's back. Just remember that you will be marrying the love of you life and your marriage is what matters most. I hope things work out for you. Also, join the NOAH'S damage page on Facebook. They have helped displaced brides find venues to accommodate their style, vendors, etc.

OMG Quinnette! I am so sorry you were affected also! If you paid by Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, or any other major credit card company, contact them as soon as possible and file a dispute for every NOAH'S transaction for services not rendered. Make sure to go back into your email and print a couple copies of your contract and receipts. When was your wedding planned for?
