The cocktail hour will also be on the pier, and then this yacht will pull up to the pier to pick everyone up, and our reception is a 4 hour yacht cruise on the lake, with drinks and dinner and dancing. I am so excited!

I am getting married at a beautiful golf and country club called Swan-e-Set Bay Resort and Country Club.

Pictures are as follows:

The first is a photo of the ballroom as it will be set up for the ceremony

The second is after they flip the room for the reception. The cocktail area is to the right with a large area with a bar and patio and all the hors d'oeuvres will be there. While they are eating and socializing there is a wall that goes up so no one sees the magic

The third is a picture of the grounds, I am so excited they give us gold carts to zip around on because the place is so huge, I can't wait for photos!!

The Arbors Events in Cleveland, NC.

It has a beautiful lake behind the venue. The house on the right is also where we will be staying all weekend. It's incredible inside!

Wow! all of these venues are so gorgeous. We dont have anything pretty like that around here. We are having our reception in a community building, our wedding is here:

its not the prettiest, but we chose it because we are huge penn state fans. Joe Paternos viewing was in this room, so it meant alot to us. Our wedding is a penn state theme too, so it all fits in.

edited to add: i have no idea whos wedding this is, I found it on google, it was the only one I could find.

@Bree, that's actually a pretty nice room. I love the bold colors on the walls, including that painting, and I like the shinyness of the floors. It almost looks like your guests are seated on top of water and your reflections are floating Dreamy! @MrsCaldwell, your ceremony location looks sooo exotic! Where is it?

@futuredrcarter its actually here in houston, texas but its an old spanish villa that has been restored.

@FutureDrCarter thank you, I didnt even notice the floor before. Im going to have to make sure that my photographer gets a picture similar to that. Its actually really cute. Your venue is absolutely gorgeous

here is mine, ceremony on the beach *fingers crossed no rain!! lol*, followed by cocktail hour on the patio right off the sand outside of our reception hall...then reception in the ballroom.

Also included a picture of the room us girls are getting ready in, it's so freakin cute! lol

Here's the outside of the reception restaurant (we're not having the ceremony on the lawn, but we will have cocktail hour out there). It's quintessential Maine coastline, I love it!

We also get to have cocktail hour in the exhibit hall (it is a museum).

It is perfect for us. I wanted something not too formal, and I love the plane!
