I am on a serious time crunch! I only have about 2 months to plan my wedding. I need a venue that:

-fits up to 300 guests

-indoor reception and ceremony

-has no catering or vendor restrictions

-$4,000 max

I would prefer a venue that is only 1 hr away from Gresham, Oregon but I would be okay with a venue that is up to 2 hrs away, but if it is 2 hours away, it must include a bridal suite so I can get ready there.

Any tips or ideas on how to search for venues?

I would check Community centers. They are affordable and you can generally bring in your own food and drinks. We're going with one. We have it 10 hours for 275. If we would have gotten the kitchen we would have to have a licensed caterer and it would be an additional 125. You can also check VFW halls, UAW halls, Eagles Clubs, Elks clubs, Mason halls, Moose lodges

Hey Green! Have you had the chance to check out the WeddingWire venue search tool? I think it would be a great place to start since you are under such time constraints!
Here are the Portland Wedding Venues that are listed, but you can filter this search further based on what type of venue you want, date, capacity and amenities!
