Venue under $3,000?

Gracie, on January 7, 2019 at 9:15 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 9
Hi! We want to find a foresty wedding venue that cover the ceremony and reception. But for 3,000 or under, and in northern California or tahoe.

It would definitely be nice if it could include catering like some places do but I'm really just trying to find a place, where I can start

I’ve been to a wedding at Meeks Bay in Tahoe. I don’t know how much they paid for the venue specifically but I know they did the whole wedding for 10-12k.

Have you checked out wedding spot? I used that to search for venues and the quotes are pretty spot on. I did a quote for the venue I picked and it was pretty accurate once I got the actual estimate from venue. When I was doing research, I came across places (in nor cal) where the venue price was not high. I cannot remember what they are off the top of my head though.

I am in NorCal and had a really hard finding any venue under $3k. Most were $3k and up from there. I found best pricing in Tuolumne and Stanislaus counties.

I don’t remember the exact cost of it, but we had a similar budget and looked at High Hill Ranch at Apple Hill. They don’t t provide catering but it’s beautiful

I suggest using the Vendor search tab here on WW. This is how I found nearly all my vendors and I live in Northern California. There's a beautiful venue in Foresthill called Monte Verde Inn that offers semi-inclusive packages (catering, rentals, flowers, cakes) and has good prices. This was our 2nd choice when we were looking at venues but ultimately decided to get married in Sonoma. You may want to consider getting married on a day other than Saturday to get the best prices on a venue. But depending on how many guests you plan to have, it will be very hard to find a venue that includes catering for only $3,000.

Try checking out any National or State Parks if theres any in the area (it looked like a lot of National Forests so you could try those too). A lot of parks do weddings for very cheap. We looked at some in Tennessee, GSMNP had SO MANY beautiful places available and they were all under $2000, even ones that included rentals like tables and chairs!
