Our wedding venue requires an alphabetized list of every guest's name one month in advance. Is this normal? My brother and sister both recently had weddings and said they have never heard of this.

    So what happened did the check names for the events or just wanted to nail down the highest number possible for ancillary events like welcome party and breakfast?
