I don’t see my venue listed. I added it via the option, but when I go back and search it it does not come up.

If your venue has not included themselves on WeddingWire, they will not show up on the search tab. When you add them yourself, it's strictly for your planning purposes (for example, our DJ is a local radio host who does weddings for friends, therefore he does not have a WW account. He's just written into our DJ vendor slot but there will not be an area to review him when/if the time comes).
