Venue

In order to find a venue you need to look at a few things.

1. Your budget and guest count - You will want to make sure you know how much you can afford to spend and if your venue can accommodate the number of people you plan on inviting.

2. Where and when - You need to determine where you want the wedding to be and what time of year, but you also want to be open to dates because venues tend to book out well in advance so you want to be flexible.

3. What type of venue - Do you want something rustic, modern, fancy, etc.? This will help you narrow down your search.

4. Extras - Do you want a venue that includes things? Our wedding venue included all food and drinks, tables, chairs, linens, lighting, ceremony, crocktail hour, and reception spaces that were all separate and we didn't have to worry about a room flip.

Do you have details such as budget limits and guest size? The advice is different if you need a low cost wedding or the minimum plated reception. Are you looking for indoors or outdoors? It is not always that you will get the recommendation of a specific venue but maybe some help can be given to get you closer to what you want.

My biggest suggestion is budget and date!! The timing is everything. Tour some places in the area you'd like to get married and see what their calendar looks like.
