Venues in oc that allow Outside Catering

How many guests are you expecting? Venue budget and what you’re hoping to include in that? I think most of the venues that would fit the bill the best unfortunately is have required caterers. PP’s suggestion of Luna Bella Ranch is nearly perfect except for the brick part, however, they offer all-inclusive packages, including caterer. Is there any one element of those you listed (including BYO) that are an absolute priority?


If you’re dying for brick, it’s hard to top The Estate on Second in Santa Ana, but they do require you to go through Jay’s Catering.

Another brick venue that comes with a pretty good catering deal is Country Garden Caterer’s in-house venue.

If you’re really hoping for greenery and are open to a more historic rustic venue, I highly recommend the French Estate. They are super flexible and allow you to bring your own vendors, but also have special deals with their favorite vendors as options too.

If you’re down for more barn rustic, look into the Anaheim Riverbed Farm and Millennium Barn at the OC Fairgrounds. Anaheim Riverbed Farm allows you to BYO.

If it’s the greenery specifically you are after, I’d look into the Environmental Nature Center in Newport Beach. Super green and some of the bill is tax-deductible. I believe they have a list of caterers, but you aren’t required to use them (double check on that though).

CSUF’s Arboretum can also be rented for weddings, and you can have the ceremony under a pretty wisteria arbor. They are picky about you using vendors from their list however.

You can also look into Plantenders Nursery OC for greenery with a rustic vibe.

If it’s all about the BYO, look into community centers, woman’s clubs, and public parks. I’ll list a few here, but I’ll also include my venue spreadsheet with all of these and more venues too.
Brea Community Center has a new Arts Garden that could be dressed up to fit your theme.

The Woman’s Club of Orange has an outdoor area that you could decorate as well. The gallery page on their website has lots of photos of the outdoor area.

Bommer Canyon Park’s Cattle Camp is super rustic and rented through the city of Irvine. They’re doing renovations through 2020, so if your looking at 2021, it could be an option. As a bonus, I included a gallery of a wedding there as an example of how it was dressed up. Other weddings there show some of the ceremonies in greener areas.
