I booked secret woods nature center in dania beach for ceremony and reception 12 hrs 10 am to 10 pm (including breakdown and setup)for 950.00 including outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. They have a 18 page vendor list of all sorts of vendors you could need for a wedding

Not a problem. So im looking at this house on Wednesday tgat lies on 3 acres of land. The venue rental alone is 2650 but it gives me access to the house from 11 am the day of the wedding to 11 am the next day. And it includes clean up bistro lights and a dance floor. And access for the bride and grroms men rooms and the house as well What do you guys think?

Bamboo gallery in Davie. For the meal, they had a caterer who made a huge pot of paella in front of the guests. They had beer and wine only. It was beautiful

Hi!!! I'm having our wedding at Galuppis. It's in Pompano Beach. Very affordable. It's a restaurant right on a golf course. Ceremony outside reception inside. We have 40 guests. Ceremony, room , Buffett style dinner, open bar, photographer, DJ, and cake is about 5k. They have a few different options. It's a very simple venue but has some great views for pics. Bridal room as well. This is ceremony area. The purple greenery is no longer there but it's still very pretty.

I'm with Enchanted, that seems a bit high.

The Addison (if we choose them) we're looking at $5k just for food, and open bar for 35 guests. I'm gonna go cry now.. lol

Yeah, I just fell in love with the house though and the idea of no curfew, but I guess I will keep it as a last resort.

@Hisbeauty I got married at the Addison! and it amazing. It rained so we couldn't get married under the Banyan trees. Everything about them is beautiful - their food is SOOOOOO good but I get how crazy expensive it is. We got married on a Thurs. to lower some of the cost

Have you checked out the Vista Lago Ballroom? I've heard it's pretty affordable and has many things included.

Yep our minimum was 10k compared to the 22k for Saturdays lol it is insane!! but don't stress out. if you have 35 guests you should be able to find something reasonable. I know how hard it is because it sounds like we have similar taste based on the venues you mentioned. Is 10k your total budget??

Yeah, my dad offered to pay for the wedding, and he wanted to stay about $5-8k, It's just not really doable. My mom is paying for my dress and alterations. FH and I are paying for invites, and a few other things. However, even with $10k from my dad it's hard to find anything. I'm thinking about giving up and maybe doing courthouse, or park wedding. Neither of which I really wanna do.

I'm honestly losing hope and just ready to give up. I'm having a hard time justifying $10k for 35 people.

I had a hard time too. We started with 10k and quickly realized we couldn't get far, but we had a lot more people than you. Don't settle if you don't have too...at first I couldn't justify spending thr money but then I just got over it. I don't regret it at all even if now we have to wait a little longer to own our house. I had a hard time finding a place because i didn't want a beach wedding and in S. Florida it isn't that easy lol. Heres some places I kinda looked at but didn't actually see in person ...Jacaranda Golf course, Grand oaks in Davie..Marriott Delray(I did go here they have a cute area for aceremony)..Maxwell ..Shooters. Crest Room in St. Cloud..White Room in St Augustine...Orlando had some I just can't remember the names..tree tops park

I went to a wedding at the Maxwell Room a year ago, it was nice...i don't know about pricing though. Also look into the Delray Beach Golf Club and Ocean 234 in Deerfield Beach.

I agree with PP that's a tight budget for SoFlo but it can be done. We are doing a beach wedding/all inclusive reception and it's already past 10k so I'd do small ceremony and dinner type reception. I found a few country club type places that had good deals in the vendor section on here but I wanted to stay all in 1 spot to reduce travel for OOT guests. Good luck :-)

I have looked at the Old Davie School and the venue rental alone is about 4200. For 2019 they jumped to 6200. Longans Place in Miami seems to have a reasonable price and gorgeous venue.

Try looking for offbeat locations. I'm in St Pete and got my venue for $1600 for 9 hours. It's a historic club house deep in an old quiet neighborhood. You can also look on Airbnb for people renting large houses for parties. I saw one that was a ranch out in San Diego for $500 for a day and it could sleep like 30 people overnight. You'll have to get event insurance for those options though

We look for venues in the Miami area that had the option for a beach wedding ceremony because for us that is a must. For the beach ceremony the options of venues is limited and most are way over your price point. The most affordable we found for a beach wedding was The Newport Beachside Hotel.

If you only want an outdoor wedding reception without the beach, then you may have more options. There is a banquet hall that has an outdoor gazebo for ceremonies (cant remember name) their price point was very affordable and their packages include everything.

We are having our wedding at the Palms Hotel and Spa and our budget is 15K for 45 guest. We are a little over our budget but the venue is the perfect spot for us. We are also doing natural flowers which can be more expensive the other options.
