Could you give a little more information? How big is your guestlist? What time of day are you getting married? Is it formal or less so?

But consider everything from hotels, museums, banquet halls, back yard, local park, restaurants, movie theaters, lodges, halls, etc. I can be a lot more specific if you give me a little more detail. Oh, and tell us where you are.

My guest list is about 50-60 people. I'm trying to keep it small. I want to start about 4pm but I will consider earlier times. I've considered all options. I live in dade city, fl.

Since you're looking fairly short term, you should be able to negotiate some great prices. You'll need to be flexible though. Is 5/19 THE date? Or are you looking at May in general? When you're calling venues ask them if they have any availability In mid-late may. You may need to consider a Friday or a daytime wedding, but you'll find something. Keep calling around~

Thanks Kimberly M. 5/19 is the date thus far. Its not etched in stone but i've already change the date twice.

I know in the outer banks of NC we have wedding on the beach all the time. We just get the rental companies to set up a tent out on a wide enough stretch of sand (as not to get washed away by the tide) and get married out at the surf and have the reception under the tent... Is this even an option for you all?

There's lots of places in Tampa, I've had a few friends get married at Woodmont Clubhouse in Temple Terrace (near USF). They have a gazebo under big oak trees for a ceremony, and indoor clubhouse for the reception. It will definitely fit 50-60 people, with room for a dance floor, bathrooms, big catering kitchen, and it's pretty reasonably priced. Don't know their availability, but it's worth a shot.

Woodmont was my first visit. That's really where I would love to go. Still working with it they were reserved. Thanks so much for all the posts they have truly helped me out today.
