Venues with everything included or just venue

One place I'm looking at is all inclusive with Ceremony and reception able to be there, and separate area for a cocktail hour. With great places for pictures and all. Each $2,000 for rental. However one has a minimum of 14k spend on your food & beverage package and no outside food besides cake allowed, not even favors can be food.

Depends on your budget and needs! I personally did a lot of research based on my specific budget and needs, along with reading countless reviews!! Sometimes the price seems great for one place, but then the more research you do you realize it doesn't offer as much as you'd really like. I ended up going with a JAM (Jeffrey A. Miller) Catering venue, and the cost of the venue included so much of what I needed!! Between hands-on communication with the venue manager, the care put into keeping the venue beautiful, the flexibility, and so much more, this place is worth every penny, and what makes it better is that it's affordable!!! Ceremony is also available on the venue with the reception, including the chairs, tables, table settings, etc., and eased so much anxiety for me. Pick a venue who's price includes the easing of your planning anxiety!!!

All inclusive is great for what I saw, but was way over the budget, which had to include catering. Found a venue I liked and I will be doing the decor myself and saving thousands, which we will put towards catering and bar.
