Venues with no vendor or time restrictions

The least restrictions are often through the parks and rec department (city park, community center, historical sites). They allow your own caterer and usually 8 hours of use.

Typically venues that allow outside catering are more flexible with times, both when you can come in and when you have to head out. Check with the parks department website for your area under venue rentals. Many will have 12-18 hours you can use the venue. Also there are some venues that have a 2am or later curfew and they are often converted warehouses in the industrial part of town. Peerspace.com , splacer.com and eventective.com are good starting points. Some have curfew times listed and others you have to call or email for information.


For use having an early time to come in and a late or no curfew to leave is a non negotiable for us being in a high cost of living area and we had no difficulty finding them online. You run into people who say that doesn’t exist anywhere but you have to know where to look.
