HI! My fiancé and I are getting married on September 13, 2025, just got engaged this past Christmas and have already booked our venue a month ago. We only toured that one. Before looking/touring we sat down and listed our must haves, what we can live without and done our compromising if needed. We did Alot of looking on this website and other areas on internet. The one we chose just spoke to us. We went to see it and we just knew that it was our venue. It has only been a short period of time since booking and our wedding isn't for another year and half, but we haven't had any second thoughts.

We toured seven venues. We lived four hours from every venue we looked at because we wanted a venue that was in between both of our families. My family is in PA and his is in NJ and we were living in MD at the time. All seven were about split distance wise from both families. We spent one weekend looking at all seven. I really had to narrow it down before scheduling any tours because of our limited timeframe to tour venues.

We looked at 4 venues. The second venue is the one we booked.

We looked at more then a few and we ended up picked one of the last ones we seen. I suggest you do the same until y'all find the one that both of you love, not only the space but for the price as well. Have you started planning just yet?

4, after eliminating a ton just by looking online.

We toured 3 and booked the first location. I had two of the venues on my radar a year ago. Once we got engaged this past December I booked our tours immediately. I stumbled across one newer venue and we checked it out just to compare. But it came down to the first venue being a one stop shop (hotel rooms for out of town, ceremony/reception space, onsite catering and bar).
