My fiance proposed on July 4 2016 with a beautiful Vera Wang ring from Zales. I am so in love with this ring but I have had 2 bring it back to Zales twice now because the smaller diamonds in the outer halo have fallen out? I stopped wearing the ring to work after one of the diamonds fell out (I'm an ER nurse) but now it's happened again? And it takes up to 4 weeks to get the diamonds replaced. Does anyone with this style of ring have the same problem??

I have a Vera Wang engagement ring from zales also. I've had it since October 15th. We had it resized once and will take it in March to get cleaned and inspected but I haven't had any issues.

It's probably the gloves that you wear, I've had that issue and so has the nurse at my job. It's usually when there's no clasp to secure the smaller diamonds. Also be careful when cleaning it sometimes the pressure looses up the diamonds. It's always best to just clean your ring by hand. Hope this helps.

My solitaire diamond engagement ring has been back several times, thank goodness for warranty. The first time I discovered it was spinning in the prongs and they fixed it. Then noticed a bent prong The next time so they decided that they were going to replace the prong. Took about a month got it back bring it in every six months to be checked. Just had that done again 6/6/17 not to mention I visually check it every day. On 6/25 I woke up in the diamond was gone and once again the prongs are just slightly ascew so it was just enough so I guess this time to lose the diamond completely. I am furious with this quality and I'm pretty sure they never put a new prong on it when they sent it in the 2nd time. I also have a wrap for it that is one and a half years newer than the solitaire and that also has had to be repaired as one of the small diamond chips fell out. Now mind you I am not left-handed, I am retired and was doing absolutely nothing to have damage the ring any of the times. I have similar precious rings on my right hand and never have had a problem nor are they ever taken in every 6 months to be inspected or cleaned but then they were not bought at Zales. Thankfully my husband purchased insurance so once again we will travel one and a half hours back to that closest store, but this time I don't want the same rings back as I do not want to do this the rest of my life with sales. I am hoping that they will take these lemons back and allow us to choose something else.
