Very proud of myself-had to share! I'm down 5 pounds in 1 week...

Okay, I'm not trying to brag, I just wanted to share this for all of those looking to start a diet as (hopefully) some encouragement that WE CAN loose the weight. I started the Nutrisystem diet last Friday and I am officially down 5 pounds. I know that the first week is mostly water weight, and that I probably will not loose as much per week from now on, I'm just so happy that it's working. The food is actually fairly good and I stopped being hungry all the time (which is how I normally am anyway) after the 2nd day. Only 25 pounds to go, wish me luck!

    Congrats! I joined Weight Watchers lat week and lost 5 as well--felt the same way about the water weight. Smiley smile but am looking forward to shedding actual inches now.

    Congrats! That must feel great! Just remember to not get discouraged if you don't see the numbers dropping on the scale (our weight fluctuates ~2 lbs throughout the day)... I'd pay more attention to the fit of your clothes and your body measurements. Smiley smile Keep up the good work!

    I'm down 14 pounds in 3 weeks. I buy "Smart Ones" meals from Randalls and walk 1 mile a day. Congratulations, keep it up!!!!

    I'm down 18lbs over the last 18 weeks, slow and steady. I've been doing it by drinking a ton of water and taking oxy elite, which is supposed to speed up fat burn. I personally think it just gives me an extra kick of energy so I can be motivated to work out more. I've also been really paying attention to eating healthy and working out every day. I feel great! Congrats on the great kick start I really think weight loss the first week is a great motivator!

    Congrats! It always feels good when you start to see results. Just don't get discouraged if your weight loss slows. I have lost 50 pounds since May 2010 and I have had to fight for every bit of the last ten pounds to melt off. I still have about 10 to go! Keep up the good work!

    Wow, looks like alot of you deserve a congrats and keep up the good work too! Glad to see that so many of us are choosing to be healthy. Just remember, those skinny supermodels aren't role models, the goal is to be within the acceptable weight range. My picture was taken about 10 pounds ago - so I am actually trying to get back to that minus another 10-15. I appreciate the support!

    Good for all of you ladies!!

    I've lost 8 lbs in 3 months, which I know is really slow weight loss but I'm still proud of myself. I've also been working out WAY more than ever and because of that I've lost 2" in my hips, 2" in my waist and 1" in my chest! AND I feel fitter and stronger than I have in a long time.
