I'm getting my nails done with my best friend 2 days before the wedding and I've been debating on color. I know NOTHING about this kind of stuff, but my sister trying ti guide me has only made me more indecisive. My dress is ivory, so im told to stay away from white...

These are the 1st pics I found that I liked. What do you think? Our wedding colors are crimson, black, silver, and ivory (it's also a Valentines day wedding).

I love the first picture. I personally think nails should be sutble and a lighter color for weddings to not distract in photos.

No I don't think so. I've started going to a nail salon and doing colors I like that are neutral or ivory in color every couple of week sonic can sample then before ei make my decision so it's right for the big day.

I like the first one! It's not straight ivory so it won't blend in or anything like that. The 2nd one is more like "HEY, look at my nails!" Like Michelle, I've been trying neutral wedding nail colors but I haven't found the perfect one just yet.

My sister said white on ivory makes the ivory look yellow 😂 im all logic and numbers with no style, but im trying to figure out how 10 little digits would make a whole dress appear to change color 😂😂😂 thinking ill stick with my original plan, and she can razz me later if it clashes 😜

The white is beautiful & I don’t think they will clash. And just to be sure I just flipped through my wedding album. There is not one picture where my nail color could be compared to my dress. I had a neutral/pinkish coated with chrome. 😊

Oh and also, if this reference is helpful, my dress was ivory and my husbands jacket was white. The colors are so close even if you do get a photo where you can compare the colors I don’t think they will be different enough to make a difference

I thought a lot about this. I experienced with many nail colors during lockdown. I even managed to learn to put acrylic nails plus extensions by myself 😆. I now plan to go with natural color. No french tip, no glitter, no ombre. I tried to take pictures with each color, and nude color is still the best. Because the ring is more important to me. Once the nail is eye catching, it took away the attention from the ring. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wow, Belle! I tried those color street thingies and totally screwed it up, and that was the end of my adventure with DIY nail stuffs 🤣🤣🤣

😂 It takes practice and the hardest part was doing my right hand. I am right handed, so lots of shaking and mess up, but after a few times it works. However, I think you too will get the hang of it!

Excited and nervous! I have an appointment every 3 days for one thing or another between now and the wedding LOL so much to take care of at the end of the planning process! I did already touch base with my vendors, so I know everyone is good to go for the day of.
