Vibrant bridal nails, yay or nay?

Wear whatever color you love. Throw in your personality with the red nails if that is what fits you. It will not take away from the dress any more than red lipstick that nearly every bride wears.


Most white and cream/ivory are impossible to tell apart, be it nail polish or fabric. No one is that nitpicky that they will say "that's ivory not white" or "no bride is allowed to wear anything with color" and insist you cancel the festivities until you fix it. If they do, their priorities are in the wrong place.

I like the first option!


You can barely see my nails in most pictures, but I did pink and white ombré dip. My dress was ivory over light gold. Didn’t clash at all!

I prefer the first set of nails. Never been crazy about red

I like the nail colors in the first picture. The red nails are pretty too. I plan on going to go with white/neutral colors, that way when I look at pictures years from now I won't be wondering what I was thinking!

I love both options! I’d go along with the second photo especially since your colors incorporate crimson. But if you feel like it’s too bold or too much, the first option is great too. We have similar colors and my dress is also ivory 🤗 best of luck to you!

I did a very pale pink! I don’t think the first ones will clash at all and would look great for a wedding!

Thanks, Lynnie. I'm actually feeling more torn today than yesterday my honeymoon starts the next day, so now I'm thinking, if I go red, it'll be festive for the honeymoon, too!
