I didn't plan to get video but friends and my fiance convinced me. We got ours for $1500 with a holiday promotion from petit 4 films. The samples they have looked decent but can't "recommend" due to not working with them yet. I'm in MD so not took far from NJ that they may be available in your area

My fiance and I initially weren't going to book a videographer, but since we postponed due to COVID, we decided to book one, and we are super excited for it! There are people who highly recommend a videographer, and there are people who didn't book one and have no regrets. I think it really comes down to whether you think you'll want video later on. If you're looking for one, but don't want to spend a lot of money, is there a community college near you that has a film department? A film student would likely be way cheaper than a professional.

That sounds really inexpensive to me. I'm in the NYC area and got quotes between about $3000 to 5000

I personally think video is worth it. for me i watch mine a lot! that's because it is easier watching a 3 minute video than scrolling through 400 photos but at same time if you do not have the budget for it, it is something ok to skip

I personally think it's totally worth it! They'll catch things the photographer won't and you'll actually get to go back and see those precious moments again. And yup those prices sound about right; we paid $2500 for 8 hours, 2 videographes, all the special moments, a cinematic film, and a social media highlight video. Check out Petit Four Films...they're like everywhere; definitely in PA and they have some really great packages for all budgets and sizes. They also have an IG. Good luck on your search!
