My daughter's video was all voices and no music (other than what was already embedded in ceremony/reception). I knew what you were asking...it definitely made it more "real" and authentic.

Is there a great difference in the price ?

I will say, I think this is very weird.

My husband is a videographer, and as a result I know many of the video services in our area. None charge extra for mics.

That said, while I think it's weird they charge extra for the mics, I would definitely try to find a way to fit it in the budget if you can.

I would be disappointed if I got a wedding video and couldn’t hear the vows.

Hmm that's kinda weird, I'm a wedding videographer in Spokane Washington and usually I'll just set one price for the entire day and I'll get full coverage of everything which includes mics and audio from the reception.
