Videographer for a catholic wedding

I'm MOH for my sisters catholic wedding and were trying to find a videographer. The issue is at most we can find videographers that offer a 45 minute full feature film. Since her catholic mass will be around 1 hour alone were wondering how other catholic brides got around this. Did you buy the raw footage ? Do you just not have your entire ceremony on the video? Advice? Ideas? Thoughts?

Most edited videos that I've seen don't include the entire ceremony, just bits and pieces. I would definitely reach out to one of the videographers and let them know what you're looking for, most of them are more than willing to customize a package.

My videographer offered different packages that included this. I was able to get an 8 minute highlights video and a 2 hour edited video of the whole day which included the full 1 hour ceremony at my request.

My D’s videographer is giving them all the raw footage which will include their 1 hour catholic mass in addition to the edited video. They negotiated that upfront because they originally hired him just to do the mass but since he’s new (he’s a pro still photographer breaking into film) he gave them a great price ($500) and is doing 8 hours of coverage!

We negotiated with our photographer. I'm not too fascinated with drone footage, so I asked if we could swap out that for a full speech video instead of paying extra. They agreed!

It looks like you got some great advice from previous posts! I second their recommendations of talking with any potential videographers! They may offer a package that includes the entire ceremony or they may be willing to switch something out, as FutureMrsD said!
