Videography

Jess, on February 9, 2022 at 3:43 PM Posted in Planning 1 3
I want a videographer and my FH doesn’t, so we are getting one. Lol!! Since he doesn’t really want one I’m trying to be frugal with the budget but also make sure I get what I want.

The guy I picked out has a $1,000 difference in packages if I cut out the getting ready portion of the day and just do ceremony to mid reception, and don’t do a highlight video.
Did anyone not do this and regret it? Not sure if it really matters to see me getting ready? It does seem like a good option but I’m not sure if looking back I would care THAT much, and just save the money.

Hey! I don’t have my video yet but we didn’t have my videographer film us getting ready since Disney isn’t allowing in room video or photos. You could have a bridesmaid film parts of it with your cellphone. And honestly I don’t think it will be a big deal I feel like the getting ready aspect is more of pictures . Don’t overthink it Smiley smile

I cut out getting ready in my contract. I get married next month so I don’t know how it looks, but I didn’t feel the need to watch myself put on earrings or FH button his shirt.

We haven't gotten our highlight video back yet, but we also cut out getting ready footage from our package to save some money, and I honestly do not think we'll regret it lol. We didn't get photos of that part either because we don't plan on framing those or putting them in an album, nor do we plan on watching or sharing a video of us getting ready.
