Vintage Cake Topper Ideas

Maybe this can be good for something at a thrift store? whenever you get the chance after the pandemic orders are eased, thrift stores would likely have some vintage looking cake toppers.

I didn't think of that... good idea. Right after I hit send, I thought about 'love birds'. Both of FH's grandmothers loved birds (cute, subtle way to include them) and it goes with our theme and color scheme.

We wanted one that was vintage looking too. We found this one on Amazon and we loved it. Now that our wedding is done we have it in the china cabinet!

I agree with pp that once life "returns to normal" I'd check your local thrift and/or antique shops. Years ago for my parents' 50th anniversary I wanted to find a late-1940s bride & groom topper to replace their original one that was destroyed in an earthquake. I searched thrift stores and smaller resale antique shops and I found several that way. They were typically pretty inexpensive. Good luck!

I'm in love with those teal love birds. They are classic, retro and totally something you could use as decor in your home that doesn't scream wedding to anyone but y'all.
