Vintage Car - Tinted windows or not?

Ben, on October 2, 2023 at 7:39 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4
Hi,
I hope this is OK to post here. I am a vendor adding a white vintage sedan to my fleet for weddings. Usually any limo has tinted windows, but in this situation I am not sure what to do because a large part of hiring a vintage car these days is posing for photos and clear windows make sense for that.

If you were hiring a white-on-white vintage sedan for your wedding (presumably bridal delivery and couple pickup) would you want the privacy of a limo tint or the visibility of clear glass?

I would prefer keeping the vintage car as close to mint/original condition as you can. That means, no tinted windows.

If people are renting a vintage luxury car, they are likely doing so for the photo op. I would leave the windows un-tinted.

I could see it going both ways, but I mostly agree with the others. You don't want to take away from the vintage look.
