Virginia Beach Vacation Stay for "mini-moon"

Hello! My fiance and I are thinking about going on a little "mini-moon" (before our actual honeymoon) with 2 other couples we know who are getting married around the same time we are. We were considering visiting Virginia Beach for about a week, so I wanted to see if anyone had any insight as to whether they would recommend renting a beach house through a vacation home realtor, or through a website like Airbnb or Vrbo. Any suggestions? We definitely want to be in a house altogether rather than in hotel rooms! Thank you so much.

I'd probably check out AirBnB or Vrbo. I've only had great experiences with AirBnb! Although a hotel room may allow you a bit more privacy from the other couples.
I live in Virginia but have actually only been to VB once! Somehow I am much closer to Myrtle Beach, SC, than Virginia Beach!
