Virtual Engagement Party

MLS, on September 3, 2020 at 12:11 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 3

I am doing a virtual engagement party in October. My wedding will be next year and is rather large. I want to be safe during these times, but still want to celebrate.

Has anyone had one? Do you have any suggestions or experiences?

    That sounds lovely!

We've had a bunch of Zoom parties the past few months. There are a number of games that can be joined digitally - Jackbox for one - which has everything from mildly "mature" games to "oh, well, this is fantastically twisted". I think there's a CAH online version somewhere, and you can borrow from wedding/baby shower ideas and pre-send quizzes and other games.

A lot of times, we just let the conversation go, and we've spent hours on them.

If I do it, it would need to be in rounds. There are just too many people to do it all at once. Zoom only allows 100 people. And we are inviting over 200 to the wedding (not until late next year). And I don't want anyone to feel left out.
