virtual weddings

Andrea, on January 27, 2021 at 9:59 PM Posted in Planning 0 7

What would you suggest for someone possibly planning a digital wedding? I'm thinking about using Plan A An officiant from my state and use a zoom platform to have all my family together or Plan B Use a company that does some neat camera tricks but does have a dance party online everyone can dance and enjoy themselves in their own homes etc Also everything is virtual basically they set up cameras and then virtually stream it through zoom or whatever video platform. It costs some money but comes with receptions and such all virtually.

If I was watching virtually, I would only care about seeing the ceremony.

You run into alot of hurt feelings by filming the reception for those who can't attend. It's easily avoided by not sharing that portion

So basically Plan A just have people watch the ceremony only have a legally licensed officiant and basically have whoever wants to say a few words and say thanks lots of love log-off basically.

    That makes sense

Then log off go out to dinner with our folks simple

I think this is a know your crowd thing. Personally, I wouldn't dance in front of a camera in my living room haha. And I don't know how a virtual reception would work? Is everyone eating in front of their cameras? I've been to virtual baby showers and birthday parties and it's always odd having conversations with people while everyone else is just listening. However if this is up your family's alley, then go for it and add some fun to your wedding
