Visiting venues is exhausting

How many more are you planning on touring?

We ruled out most of our options on paper, and only visited two total (on different days). It was super fun but there's always so much going on in your mind that it can definitely be tiring. Fortunately, the minute we saw the second venue, we knew it was the one.

Yes, it takes some time and energy. We’re having a destination wedding in Las Vegas. Although we’ve each been to Vegas loads of times, visiting for wedding planning purposes was brand new. So, I looked online at every hotel’s wedding venues/packages and eliminated ones we didn’t like and especially deleted venues with standard hotel ballrooms (because we were looking for something with a unique flair). So when we traveled out there for tours we had 8 to view (with fingers crossed that we’d like one). We spent the first two mornings touring three locations each and looked at 2 locations on the last day. Those hotel/casinos are huge so parking and walking to the event planning office took time. Then walking through the hotels to get to their wedding venues was even more time and energy. But it all worked out! Ultimately, as luck would have it, we selected the very last venue that we toured. It was immediately perfect!

View Quoted Comment We most definitely got our steps in!!! But the excitement of the hunt kept us going. Plus (it was pre-covid) and we were able to enjoy the fun of Vegas in the evenings.

All the venues I loved were out of my budget but luckily we found an amazing historic house. We couldn't be happier but trying to find one that was affordable was hard. Hope you find the perfect one soon

We got married at a country club! I'm planning on doing a pros/cons post eventually for that type of venue, but overall I was very pleased.

I loved visiting venues . . FH did not lol We actually only saw 2 cause we fell in love with the first 1 and the second one just confirmed our feelings lol

You’ve got that right! We visited 5 and it was exhausting. Especially because my FH was being REALLY picky and hated like the first 3 we toured. It’s great once you find it though!

I feel your pain girl! We seen 5 venues in 2 days- very exhausting! We needed an all inclusive venue & had a list of our must haves before we toured them. The last venue we looked at is the one we went with.
