Vow Renewal...Silly Or Sweet?

I just heard on a local radio station asking is ppl thought vow renewals are silly or sweet? I personally think its really sweet! I would love to have a vow renewal after 20 or so years with FH!

I'm with Sharron M.. The vows we took didn't have an expiration date, so I see no need to renew them. I could maybe see it as a private thing if one of us had violated the vows, and wanted to rededicate herself to keeping them. But as a public ceremony? I don't see the point.
