Now I'm only going to have this up for a little bit, but I just finished up my vows. I have been working on them since we got engaged. I get so nervous when other people read what I write so I just want to make sure that my vows sound good.

"In my lifetime I have met thousands of people. From random strangers at bus stops to friends that I’ve known longer than you; however, that pales in comparison to when I met you. When I met you, I felt a sense of comfort and joy I had never felt in the presence of another human being. You had this presence about you that made me know I was home. You have shown me the true depths of love and happiness. I have never smiled wider, laughed harder, and felt more at peace than when I am with you. They say that the secret to true happiness is gratitude and I am forever gracious to be blessed with your presence. I love who you are as an individual as well as who I am, but together we are the perfect team. Now, I know life won’t be perfect, life will knock us down at times, but I vow to always hold your hand during those difficult moments. I vow to at least attempt to make you smile with my awful humor when you need it. I vow to always respect you and love you unconditionally. I vow to always be your number one fan and motivator when you need it. And I vow to make a home with you. Full of love and laughter and the occasional wet willy. You are the love of my life, my rock, my best friend, my companion, and the light that guides me home. I am ready for this adventure with you."

These are nice. I’d probably trim it a little though. I don’t think you need the first 2 lines, I’d suggest just starting at “When I met you ...”

I also got a little teary eyed (I cry at all weddings, and I just hope I'm not a blubbering mess for mine. It sounds like you have a great partner and are going to have a beautiful wedding. Not a big issue, because you are saying them, but you need to combine the sentences: I vow to make a home with you, full of...

I only mention it, because you might take a pause at the end of a sentence, and this should flow together as all one sentence.
