So for my vows I wrote them down normally. I decided I wanted to write them with calligraphy pens. I practiced and it turned out perfect!! I made paper look “old” from a tutorial with coffee to do my final copy. I’m on my fourth try 😑we’re not reading them at the top of the aisle. We’re reading them during pictures with our family around. But I’m getting so frustrated but I love the concept. Anyone else hand writing their vows?

Such a great idea! I (hope) to have handwritten vows that we can frame with one of our invitations later.

I love that! I saw a Pinterest idea where they had they’re vows put on canvas and hind above their bed with a wedding picture between them. It was so cute! Love the idea of adding an invitation

Thanks. I was thinking of using that, and a couple of our wedding pictures, to start a gallery wall on our stairwell.

I didn’t only because I know I’d mess up way too many times and get frustrated hahaha. Also my husband’s handwriting is god awful (like it’s honestly barely legible) no matter how hard he tries :p we just typed ours but we also copied and pasted them into the back of our wedding album (we used Shutterfly) along with our ceremony script and my mom’s toast!

I'm planning on handwriting my own vows! FH will probably type his because he writes like a three-year-old
