My fiancé and I plan on saying ours privately after our ceremony is over before we take photos. Just a nice little moment of just the two of us

At our wedding: about 45 seconds each. Recited in front of everyone.
At our vow renewal: we agreed to a time cap of 90 seconds. Will be recited in front of everyone.

We wrote letters to one another which we'll read privately and separately.
Our vows are written by us and we'll be saying them during the ceremony. Mine has a little speech before the actual vows. I'd say mine are about 3 min. long if I don't cry lol.
