Vows

You'll have a lifetime to tell them all you feel and are grateful for. So don't feel like you need to have everything in your vows because sometimes it's not so easy to write something that's going to summarize all that you feel.

It took DH and I forever to write our vows (I managed before he did, but only just). In the end, we both distilled down what we wanted to talk about MOST - in my case, how it was love at first sight, and how he's ALWAYS there for me, from the big stuff to the little tiny things. And about our baseball team.

For DH, it was about how I made him relax and laugh and had his flank the whole time, and our baseball team. (As you can tell, our baseball team is central to our relationship.)

There are a lot of articles giving advice on how to write vows (including here on WW), but the best advice is simply to focus on what you would say to the whole world about him. But to his face.
