I had some friends recommend waiting a week to go on the honeymoon for things to calm down. While logistically, it makes sense (time to breathe after the wedding, opening gifts, visit with out of town family, etc), I have a hard time imagining going to work for a week before taking off to the Caribbean... we already planned to wait until Monday to have Sunday as a "breather" day. What are your thoughts? I'd love your input!

I saw the COOLEST video of snuba!!! I've heard it's really cool and easy to get the hang of! And I didn't even know that baby turtles with the dolphin swimming was a thing?! So cool! You two are going to have a blast!!

I just got married last Saturday. My situation may be a little different. We did not live together before getting married, and we just moved into a new house. I am really enjoying our at home honeymoon phase... we actually aren't even planning our honeymoon till June. Unfortunately both of our work schedules do not allow the time off... I would say do whatever you think Is best for you and your fiancee! I can see both sides of this.. waiting to get some last minute things settled, and leaving and not having to worry about life for a week. Know you and know what is best for you!

We're actually waiting almost a month, but mostly because of things going on at work. We want to spend time with people travelling from out of town, and we really don't want our dogs to be without us for 2+ weeks. It's just easier and more thoughtful to others if we wait. That may not be the case for you.
