Are you looking for somewhere tropical/on a beach? Or in the mountains? In the US?

Also, what time of year are you thinking of going? Suggestions may change based on the season and what you're looking to do.

If you're looking at staying in the US, check out Florida Keys, or San Diego, California, or North (or South) Carolina!

If you are looking for a beach, I would definitely recommend Mexico, Jamaica, or the Bahamas (they are all cost friendly)

Not sure where you are located but June is usually considered High Season and prices tend to be higher too. I would go whenever you and your husband have always wanted to go buy never have. Save as much as you can so you can slurge a little more than a normal vacation.

We are planning on doing our honeymoon ~6 months after our wedding (due to COVID) and we are planning to go to Hawaii! We have a pretty conservative budget ($2500) and we will be staying there for 4 days at a normal resort (not crazy fancy), doing some free and some inexpensive activities, eating at the hotel/local cheap spots, but renting a jeep for some extra fun! I feel like you can have an awesome honeymoon in your own country without spending a fortune if you just prioritize spending money on parts of the trip that you really desire and save money in other areas that you don’t have such strong desires. Maybe prioritizing first class tickets for your flights would be fun for you and your spouse, and then eat at cheaper restaurants, while other couples may not care as much about their flight accommodations as they do about their dining experiences.
