Hi!

We are getting married on November 16th, 2019 and I am walking down the aisle to You are Mine by Spencer Combs (ft. Holley Maher) starting at the 0:55 point--I'm getting a little worried about the song having lyrics--it's a truly beautiful song, but I'm afraid it will be distracting.

Has anyone used songs with lyrics as their processional down the aisle? Did you find it distracting? Or have you been a guest and found it distracting?

We used lyrics in our processional songs. I didn’t find it distracting at all.

I will be using instrumental of Can't Help Falling in Love, but I have been to a couple weddings that have used lyrical music and it was beautiful.
One of my friends in particular used Marry Me by Train and did the lyrics and it was PERFECT (not a dry eye in the crowd)

I did instrumental and a symphony type version of my Aisle Walk-Down and my Bridal Party Walk, but mine were both Metallica songs. I'd say do what makes you happy... I don't think lyrics would be distracting and it can be quite beautiful. Don't worry about others, it's not their wedding -- it's yours.

That's one thing I had to realize. I can only worry about others so much before it becomes their wedding and not mine.

I’m walking down to I Can’t Help Falling in Love by Kina Granis. It’s a very pretty version with just guitar. I thinks if it’s a simple acoustic version it’s not distracting
