Walking down the aisle to Kpop.

Angela, on January 2, 2018 at 1:40 PM Posted in Planning 0 10

Here is something I could use help on that not a lot can help with.

I'm not wanting to walk down the aisle to a boring played out english song, no I don't want to have like "Bang Bang Bang" or anything like that playing but I do want it to be a Korean song because we met at a Kpop event. I'm thinking something like Monsta X Shine Forever maybe a little more acoustic or quieter.

Any suggestions?

My daughter lives for Kpop, she's 12. I personally wouldn't use a Kpop song but if you feel it reflects your relationship then go for it.

Omg, I just found out about them through their song Beautiful Smiley heart. Are you thinking Eng or the original version? I just listened to Shine Forever and could definitely see it being played as the aisle song. Maybe even just a piano cover of it with someone singning over it.

I use to be addicted to kpop but i would regret using a kpop song. People who are not in that circle find it odd. I'd only use it if the majority of your guests are Korean.

The first song come in my mind is Taeyang's Wedding dress, however not sure will the lyrics fit. How about search for Korean drama songs? I usually found them on the romantic side and not as fast beat as the modern kpop.

I'm going to keep it Korean (Mabye) but they are my favorite group, I thought about using their acoustic version of beautiful but I don't like the whole "I want to have you even though I’ll be prickled" walking down the aisle. But if I don't do Shine Forever (Most Likely will) I'll still prefer one of there songs.

At my brother and sister in laws wedding my sister in law walked down the aisle to the star wars theme song, while I don't know kpop so well, I think if you wanna walk down the aisle to one of their songs you definitely should haha

I’ve always been a fan of DBSK and their ballads (before JYJ left). Something slower tempo like “Love in the ice” is super pretty (although I prefer their Japanese version). Upbeats like Eric’s Nam “Heaven’s Dior” or SHINee’s “Hello” (RIP JH) are kinda cute.

I say if you find a song that you like, go for it! My friend’s wedding that I went to a few years ago, she walked down to a heavy-metal type song because they met at some concert too and that’s how they wanted it to be like.
