Walking down the aisle

What are you ladies walking down the aisle to? I finally made my decision today, I'm going to walk down to Moon River by Audrey Hepburn.

Our theme is all about lots of fun. So are gonna have our BM and GM walk down to Happy by Pharrell and Can’t stop the feeling by Justin Timberlake. They will be doing some fun dance while walking down the isle and then I will walk down to FH to Marry You by Bruno Mars.

Mine too!! I love that piece so much! I'm going to be using it, along with some other classical pieces for the time when guests start arriving, before the ceremony.

I went back and forth on this decision so much!! I'm kind of old school, so my first thought was something classical, either the traditional wedding march, or Canon in D. But the more I started planning our vision, the more I realized that we are different (FH and me), so we should do something very different for the ceremony. Besides, FH has been married before, and I think one of his exes walked to Canon in D, so that's out. lol

My favorite band is Led Zeppelin. They do a beautiful romantic slow song called Thank You. I've decided to use that as the processional song. It's long enough that all of us (bridal party) can walk to it, and dramatic enough that by the time it's my turn to walk, it will be at the height of the beautiful song, and perfect for my entrance. My favorite line comes at the very beginning and the very end of the song: "if the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.....if mountains crumbled to the sea, there would still be you and me..." LOVE IT!!!

We'll do a mixture of classical pieces before the ceremony, as guests arrive and take their seats.

I am too much of a nerd and bookworm to not be infatuated with the Harry Potter series. I thought this decision was a no-brainer!

We haven't decided at all yet, but I'm a huge fan of "A Thousand Years," and idk if we'd go for the instrumental or lyric version, since I love them both. Maybe We could use both, and do the instrumental for walking down the aisle and the original with lyrics for when we leave.

I'll be walking down the aisle to "Can't Help Falling in Love". It was the first song my FH ever sang to me and the first song I heard him play on his ukelele.

I always thought I'd walk down the aisle to the piano version of Bach's "Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring," but a couple of weeks ago I got the Elvis version of "Can't Help Falling in Love" stuck in my head, along with "Keeper of the Stars" by Tracy Byrd. Now I'm just not sure which to use.
