Hopefully this doesn't sound dumb lol I know any kind of exercise can help you lose weight BUT I'm wondering how much walking I have to do to lose a nice amount of weight in 6 months. Diet obviously plays a good role but I have PCOS so lets just focus on the exercise portion for now. I have 2 full time jobs that I'm sitting down the whole time. I have times where I workout but then I burn out easily after a couple of weeks and stop for months lol.

There's this girl I randomly met at a game and she started telling me all of her business! She said she recently lost 100 lbs and she did it by walking only! It was in a short time frame too [I can't remember how long it took her and I don't wanna lie] The only crazy thing is she said she had lost her job and wasn't working so she had time to walk 10 miles a day, at least 6 days a week. She said she would interval between brisk walking and casually walking but that was it. And it was outside, so no gym fees or exercise moves to perfect.

I don't have 100 lbs to lose [50 lbs though ugh] and obviously I have 2 jobs so I can't walk 10 miles a day lol. How many miles should I walk do you think to make a good difference and how often? I know I can do 2 days a week for sure but I don't know if that's enough to lose weight. Has anyone lost weight just from walking?? If so, how often did you walk and how long/far? How much weight did you lose and how long did it take you?

Thanks loves and sorry if this was unnecessarily long lol

There's a chart out there (a cursory google search should do it) that determines how long you need to walk to lose weight according to your height. Also, if you do short bursts of strength training and calisthenics, along with a protein rich diet, you'll boost your Bmr which means that you'll burn more calories in your day to day.

Couch to 5k is also a very easy slow program you can look up. There are apps too.

Walking Is a great way to lose weight. Try going for walks 2-3 times a week. If you can try to incorporate jogging into the mix.

I prefer this Manuka honey https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pure-Gold-Premium-Select-Manuka/dp/B07VRX7TL5?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1 over anything else because of its medicinal properties. I've learned that having a spoonful of honey before going to bed is one of the most effective strategies for weight loss. If you're looking for a natural product that has many benefits, then I definitely recommend Manuka honey.
